Description

Are you majoring in a STEM field? Looking to possibly add a global component to your education?  Interested in learning more about the Fulbright U.S. Student Program?

Every year, UMBC alumni attend graduate programs, teach English, and conduct research overseas, where they share in the knowledge and culture of their host countries while representing the United States to the globe. These students are Fulbright Scholars. Fulbright Scholars come from institutions across the country. UMBC's rising seniors and recent alumni -- especially members of the Honors College -- have a distinguished rate of success. A large reason for our students’ success is the institutional commitment to support our graduating seniors and recent alumni through the application process.

Dr. Brian Souders, UMBC's Fulbright Program Advisor, is hosting an informational session exclusively for members of the Honors College with backgrounds in the STEM fields. This is a wonderful opportunity to learn more about the application process and the kind of experiences available.

Another Fulbright info session tailored for students with majors in the social sciences and humanities, or any STEM majors unable to attend this session, will be held on Wednesday, April 3.

Please RSVP below if you wish to attend. Pizza will be provided!
