Today's Critical Social Justice: Ignite programming includes a special Knowledge Exchange on the theme "Liking, Following, Voting" with Delegate Mary Washington.
Since 2011, Delegate Washington has represented Maryland House of Delegates District 43, one of five districts located entirely within Baltimore City. Her victory made her the first openly LGBTQ African American elected official in Maryland. In August, Delegate Washington won the Democratic primary in the race for the 43rd District's state senator, unseating an incumbent who had held the position for over two decades. She is running unopposed in the general election.
This is a great opportunity to talk and listen with one of our region's elected officials!
