Description

How does a bus trip to D.C. sound? How about a free bus trip to D.C.?

What better place to de-stress and take in a little culture than our nation's capital, which also happens to have an incredible variety of fascinating, engaging, and often free of charge ways to spend a day.

Here are the details:

WHEN: Saturday, April 14. Buses leave UMBC at 9 a.m. from the PAHB circle and leave D.C. at 3 p.m. from a pickup spot on the National Mall (exact spot to be determined). That means we should be back on campus around 4 or 4:30 p.m.

WHERE: The city is yours -- this is an unguided trip and you're welcome to create your own itinerary as long as you're back in the pickup spot by 3 p.m.

HOW MUCH?: Free! However, you MUST stop by the Honors College during regular hours to get a ticket. Only a ticket reserves you a spot on the bus. Please get your tickets as soon as possible; these seats are absolutely going to fill up.

HOW MANY SEATS ARE AVAILABLE: Only 25. So come to the Honors College office and reserve your tickets ASAP!
