The ceremony will be followed by a reception. Students must arrive at 4:00 PM to prepare for the ceremony. Please email us at honors@umbc.edu OR RSVP and respond in the comments section below no later than Monday, May 13 to let us know whether or not you’ll be attending the Medallion Ceremony, and how many guests you’ll be bringing.
At the ceremony, you will receive your Honors College Medallion to wear at commencement the following day; your Certificate will be mailed to you in June. The Honors Medallion is a visible sign of the pride we have in your accomplishment and the satisfaction you should feel in having entered the community of scholars. This occasion will be one more step in a lifetime of dedication to the ideals of the Honors College: Learning for Living.
