Description
Please come support your Honors friends and colleagues this Thursday for a student-led symposium focusing on the complex issues surrounding incarceration in the United States. Students in HONR 300: Community Engaged Writing / Inside and Outside the Walls will explore the impact of the system on individuals, families and communities.
Panel Discussions include:
- Education and Rehabilitation
- Maryland Food and Prison Abolition Project and Workers' Rights
- Female Incarceration, Incarcerated Mothers, and Gender in the Justice System
