Honors College Advanced Students,
As you may know, UMBC has a very strong tradition of having its academically strong, globally minded students apply for the Fulbright U.S. Student Program to conduct research, teach English or earn a Master's degree overseas after graduation. In both 2020 and 2021, UMBC was a Top Producer, with a total of 24 recipients over two years. The Honors College looks forward to working with you to join their ranks!
Every March and April, Dr. Brian Souders, UMBC's Fulbright Program Advisor, hosts two information sessions to help UMBC Honors College students learn more about the Fulbright U.S. Student program, the opportunities it can offer new UMBC graduates, as well as ways to get started with the application process. These meetings give Honors College students the chance to learn more about international study, research and teaching options of the Fulbright program for the year after graduation.
