From the very start of their time at UMBC, Honors College members belong to a small community of talented students connected outside the classroom as well as inside. On-campus social events and off-campus cultural experiences in Baltimore, Washington, D.C., and elsewhere in the region are an integral part of an education in the Honors College. The Honors College is dedicated to realizing the deeper promise of the university experience, so that our motto — “Learning for Living” — becomes a reality for every student.
