Maheen Haq '20, global studies and economics, and a Sondheim Public Affairs Scholar and member of the Honors College, has been named a 2019 Newman Civic Fellow! Maheen's work on behalf of marginalized communities has taken a variety of forms, from teaching English in Baltimore to assisting with relief efforts among Syrian refugees in Jordan.
