Evan Avila '20, Economics and Political Science and member of the Honors College, has been recognized with an iOme Challenge Award by The Women's Institute for a Secure Retirement (WISER). Evan's policy paper, entitled "Rethinking Millennial Retirement: Policy Recommendations for a Gig Economy," was chosen from among submissions by students from across the country.
With his faculty advisor, Dr. Douglas J. Lamdin of the Economics Department, Evan will head to Capitol Hill to present his paper at a symposium hosted by WISER later this month.
