“Be a Voice, Not an Echo” a UMBC sponsored talk by Sharon Cooper, social justice activist and sister of the late Sandra Bland. Join us Saturday, Jan. 30th, 2016 at Red Emma’s, 30 W. North Ave, Baltimore, MD 21201 at 5:00pm. There will be a free shuttle loading at Commons Circle at 3:45pm leaving by 4:00pm and returning at UMBC at 7:30pm. Co-sponsored by The Department of American Studies and Language, Literacy, and Culture doctoral program at UMBC.
